About Scott
Scott Shi is the Co-Founder and CTO of Kite AI, building the base layer for the agentic internet. Scott is a seasoned technology leader with over a decade of experience building cutting-edge AI and data platforms. At Uber, he founded uber’s internal scale.ai from a solo effort to a 200-person team. Previously, Scott was a founding engineer for Salesforce Einstein AI, helping launch its first AI products. He also co-founded RisingWave, a streaming database company that raised over $45M.
Besides his professional achievements, Scott was a semi-professional bridge player and mentored early-stage founders through StartX, Stanford’s startup accelerator.
Scott holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Zhejiang University, specializing in distributed systems and machine learning.
